28 April Day activities to include ILO, Government & Local Authorities

OHSEI: The Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Institute in Bangkok, Thailand has lined up a series of activities to mark the upcoming 28 April International Commemoration Day (ICD).

The day will begin with a ceremony at the government flat held jointly with ILO (Bangkok), the national Ministry of Labor, and representatives of the Local Authority.

This will be followed by an exhibition and street music. As well, OHSEI will circulate an electronic alert to all affiliates to promote observance of 28 April and to highlight pressing health, safety & environment issues related to the Asian Labor Movement.

The message will include an April 28 Powerpoint Presentation with death and injury statistics combined with occupational health & safety information.
